BOZEMAN, Mont. -
Hot-shooting Northern Colorado got 23 points from Tevin Svihovec on the way to an 85-72 victory over Montana State on Saturday night.
Northern Colorado (7-15, 5-9 Big Sky) shot 61 percent from the floor, 50 percent from 3-point range and 84 percent from the free-throw line.
Tate Unruh scored 15 points for Northern Colorado, while Tim Huskisson had 12 and Derrick Barden and Connor Osborne had 11 each. Barden also grabbed 11 rebounds.
Montana State (10-12, 7-7) struggled with some of its shooting, 26.9 percent from 3-point range and 60 percent from the free-throw line.
Antonio Biglow scored 15 points to lead Montana State. Christian Moon and Blake Brumwell had 14 each and Xavier Blount had 11.
