What you need to know to attend Broncos scrimmage Saturday, Aug. 2, at Sports Authority Field

DENVER - Denver Broncos fans are invited to the team's Summer Scrimmage at Sports Authority Field at Mile High for free Saturday.

It's the last open practice the team will host.

No tickets are necessary. Tickets and parking are free. However, the team is warning, "With a large crowd expected, the Broncos are encouraging fans to arrive early and utilize carpools and public transportation to get to the stadium."

Saturday's schedule:

  • All parking lots open at 7 a.m.
  • Gates open at 8:45 a.m.
  • The practice/scrimmage will start at 10:45 a.m.
  • The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders will perform after the scrimmage

The Broncos said the players will practice in full pads.

Broncos radio play-by-play announcer Dave Logan will emcee the event for the crowd.

The NFL's clear bag policy that began last year will be in effect for this event. Bags must be clear and no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”. Non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles that are still factory sealed are permitted through stadium gates. Visit www.sportsauthorityfieldatmilehigh.com for more information.

When the parking lots at the stadium fill, overflow parking will be located at the Auraria Campus for $3-$5 per vehicle (depending on the lot) and at the Pepsi Center for $10 per space.
