ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - The Denver Broncos are changing the fan policy for training camp this summer.
Because of construction at the team's headquarters, the Broncos said they won't be able to host fans during training camp sessions at Dove Valley.
However, the team will welcome fans at two practices and the annual scrimmage at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, officials said.
"While we are disappointed in being unable to host fans at our facility during training camp this summer, we look forward to accommodating them for multiple practices at Sports Authority Field at Mile High,” Broncos President Joe Ellis said on DenverBroncos.com. “The safety and comfort of our fans are top priorities, and unfortunately the construction of the new indoor practice field as well as the renovations to our existing building present a number of safety and logistical issues.”
The three events at Sports Authority Field will be on Sunday, July 27, Wednesday, July 30, and Saturday, Aug. 2. The Aug. 2 event will be the Broncos’ fourth annual Summer Scrimmage.
