Governor John Hickenlooper prepares package of Colorado products after losing bet on Broncos

DENVER - Governor John Hickenlooper is preparing a package of Colorado Proud products to send to Indiana Governor Mike Pence after losing a bet on the Broncos and Colts game.

Prior to the game, the two governors engaged in tongue-in-cheek trash talking through Twitter.

"IN is excited to welcome #18 to Indy this weekend, but it's too bad his return will coincide with a Broncos loss," Pence wrote.

After exchanging a few messages, Pence proposed making the "friendly wager" and Hickenlooper accepted. They agreed the losing governor would send the package of local agriculture products to charity.

Indianapolis gave quarterback Peyton Manning a warm welcome home, but the Colts went on to beat the Broncos 39-33 in a very physical game.

Hickenlooper posted a photo to his Facebook page, revealing some of the items he was sending to Indiana after losing the bet. They include products from Celestial Seasonings, Udi's, Pappardelle's, Rocky Mountain Popcorn, Larabar, Justin's, Nature's Peak, Sweetwood Cattle Co. and others that were not clearly readable in the photo.
