DENVER -- Going to the see the Broncos defeat the New England Patriots this Sunday? Bundle up and watch out for snow and icy walkways inside Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium.

The warning comes after more than 11 inches of snow came down on the stadium, creating some challenges for stadium personnel who were working tirelessly over the weekend to have the accumulated snow removed and the stadium walkways deiced for game day.

Patrick Smyth, a spokesperson for the Broncos, tweeted a few photos on Saturday, showing a blanket of white powder covering the seats and the stadium aisles, but said the stadium was "in good shape."

The snow-removal efforts caused Mile High Monument to be closed Sunday for fans, Smyth said on Twitter.

The Broncos (8-5) will face the Patriots (11-2) starting at 2:25 p.m.
