NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Denver Broncos linebacker Wesley Woodyard has signed a 4-year, $16 million deal with the Tennessee Titans.
Woodyard, 27, departed for the Titans after spending his first six years in the NFL with the Broncos.
"In our new scheme he fits as one of the inside linebackers," Titans General Manager Ruston Webster told beat writer Jim Wyatt.
The University of Kentucky product led the Broncos with 117 tackles in 2012. His numbers dropped last season as he battled a neck injury in Week 5 and lost some playing time to linebacker Paris Lenon.
Woodyard was a captain for the Broncos in each of his six seasons on the team. He joined the Broncos as a college free agent in 2008.
