A football fan left the Broncos season opener early for a trip to the hospital.
Denver Police confirm a fan toppled over some stair railings, just minutes into the Ravens game at Sports Authority Field.
The 42-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was transported for treatment. The injuries were to his head.
No one else was involved or hurt, police say. This appears to be an accident.
He fell about 15 feet in the west stands.
No official word on what caused the fall.
