ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - The Denver Broncos have signed a former CU Buffalo and hometown player to the team.
Defensive lineman Will Pericak, of Boulder, played four years with the CU Buffs.
He was signed by Baltimore as a college free agent, but spent his rookie season in 2013 on practice squads with San Diego and Jacksonville.
Pericak competed in the Denver Broncos rookie mini camp as a tryout player in May earning him a spot in training camp.
He'll wear No. 69 for the Broncos.
Pericak was a popular player for the Buffaloes. He started a school-record 49 games at Colorado and finished his career with 207 tackles (125 solo), 7.5 sacks, 19 tackles for a loss, five forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and eight passes defended, according to CU and the Broncos.
