DENVER - The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms to re-sign safety David Bruton to a three-year contract, according to a news release from Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway.

Bruton has played 61-of-64 possible regular-season games for Denver since he was selected in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

He is ranked second on the club in special-teams tackles during that time.

Bruton appeared in every game in 2012, leading the Broncos in special-teams plays. He was named a third alternate for the Pro Bowl squad as a special-teamer.
