DENVER - Peyton Manning’s security blanket hopes to remain a Denver Bronco next season.

Wide receiver Brandon Stokley told USA TODAY that he would, “Like to make another run at it.”

Stokley, 36, signed a one-year deal with the Broncos last season hauling in 45 passes for 544 yards and five touchdowns during the 2012 campaign.

The 13-year veteran played with Manning as a member of the Indianapolis Colts from 2003-2006. He caught a career high 68 passes with ten touchdowns in 2004.

Stokley is currently a free agent and he is able to sign with any team beginning March 12.
