DENVER - The Denver Broncos will have to play the New England Patriots in Foxborough again next season.
The list of Broncos opponents for 2014 was released Thursday.
"We knew the Broncos would face the entire AFC East and NFC West next season, along with one team each from the AFC South and AFC North," DenverBroncos.com editor Gary Caldwell wrote on the team's website. "Exactly which teams those would be depended on where the Broncos finished in the AFC West. Since the Indianapolis Colts and the Cincinnati Bengals have secured first place in those divisions, respectively, and the Broncos are AFC West champs for the third consecutive season, those two teams are locked into next year's slate."
As they do each year, the Broncos will face the San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders at home and on the road. That's six of the sixteen games.
In 2014, the team will also host the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts at Sports Authority Field.
On the road, the Broncos will face the New England Patriots, New York Jets, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Cincinnati Bengals.
The schedule -- with times and dates -- will likely be released in April, the team said.
