ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - The Denver Broncos will not have their number one running back during the pre-season.
Montee Ball is having surgery to remove his appendix on Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Schefter reported that Ball will miss all of preseason and will return for the season opener.
Ball himself tweeted that he's be ok and will, "come back stronger than ever."

This is Ball's second year with the Broncos. He was drafted by the Broncos in the second round of the 2013 draft.
