The Broncos finished off an incredible day of free agent signings by getting cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to sign a 1-year deal for $5 million.
Rodgers-Cromartie spent the past two seasons in Philadelphia starting all 16 games in 2012. But the Eagles decided not to re-sign him. He made the Pro Bowl as a member of the Arizona Cardinals.
Rodgers-Cromartie will be penciled in to start at right corner opposite Champ Bailey. This allows the Broncos to use young cornerbacks Chris Harris and Tony Carter in the nickel and dime defenses.
