The Denver Broncos made several changes to the roster Tuesday, before the 2016 league year begins on Wednesday.
The Broncos released tight end Owen Daniels, long snapper Aaron Brewer and guard Louis Vasquez.
Those decisions have now cleared $8.43 million in cap space.
“These decisions are never easy, but we appreciate the contributions Louis, Owen and Aaron made to our team, especially during our Super Bowl run,” Broncos Executive Vice President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway said.
Vasquez started 47-of-48 possible regular-season games and all seven postseason contests for the Broncos from 2013-15 after being signed by the club as an unrestricted free agent from San Diego.
Daniels, who was signed by Denver as an unrestricted free agent from Baltimore last year, ranked third on the Broncos in receptions (46), receiving yards (517) and receiving touchdowns (3) during his lone season with the team.
Brewer handled snapping duties for every punt, field goal and extra-point attempt for the Broncos since signing with the team as a college free agent in 2012 from San Diego State University.

The Broncos are reportedly also losing Malik Jackson and Danny Trevathan.
Jackson's deal is reportedly worth $90 million with $42 million guaranteed.

The Broncos are still working on deals with several other players.

Clubs are permitted to contact and enter into contract negotiations with the certified agents of players who will become unrestricted free agents from March 7-9.
"However, a contract cannot be executed with a new club until 4 p.m. ET on March 9," according to ESPN.
