Boulder, CO -- Zac Taylor threw for 392 yards and two touchdowns, as the Nebraska Cornhuskers defeated the Colorado Buffaloes, 30-3, in a Big 12 North Division battle at Folsom Field.

Taylor went 27-for-43 and Cory Ross caught nine passes for 129 yards and a score for the Cornhuskers (7-4, 4-4 Big 12), who won their last two games of the regular season and now await word as to which bowl game they'll play in.

Joel Klatt went 20-for-40 with 159 yards and one interception, and Hugh Charles rushed for 78 yards on 12 carries in the loss for the Colorado (7-4, 5-3). This was the second straight defeat for the Buffaloes, who might have blown their chance for a trip to the Big 12 title game against Texas. They can still get in if Iowa State loses its game at Kansas on Saturday.

On the Buffaloes' first play from scrimmage, after a Cornhuskers three-and- out, Charles took the ball for a 45-yard run to the Nebraska 24. However, they could not get another first down and had to settle for a Mason Crosby 33-yard field goal.

Nebraska marched down the field on its next possession and tied the game on a Jordan Congdon 26-yard field goal with 8:06 to play in the first. The field goal was set up when Taylor hit Nate Swift over the middle for a 33-yard strike.

Colorado attempted a 57-yard field goal on its next possession and Crosby had the distance, but it was just barely wide right.

The Cornhuskers had the ball at the start of the second quarter and on a 3rd- and-3 play Taylor hit Ross on a little dump pass over the middle. He then broke a couple of tackles and scampered 19 yards into the end zone to make it 10-3 with 13:01 remaining until halftime.

Nebraska made it 17-3 on a Cody Glenn one-yard touchdown run. The score was set up when Taylor connected with Todd Peterson for 38 yards to put the ball on the Colorado nine-yard line. Two plays later Glenn punched it in with 9:57 to play in the half.

A 30-yard field goal by Congdon finished up the scoring for the first half with the Cornhuskers up 20-3.

Nebraska kept up the pressure in the second half and made it a 27-3 game with 6:30 left in the third stanza. Taylor hit Swift in the end zone on a 21-yard strike.

Officials stopped play for several minutes in the fourth quarter after fans threw water bottles and other assorted debris on the field.

Congdon nailed a 30-yard field goal with 2:02 remaining in the final quarter.

Friday's game marked the largest margin of victory in the history between the schools since the Cornhuskers defeated the Buffaloes, 52-7, at Memorial Stadium on October 31, 1992.
