Denver's 7 Sports Team
Lionel Bienvenu joined Denver's 7 in June 2001. He had anchored a national sports highlights show on from Fox Sports Net, and hosted his own show called "Fox Sports News Tonight."During his Fox years, he also hosted "The English Premier League Soccer Show" on Fox Sports Net and Fox Sports World. The show was seen in the U.S., Europe, and Central and South America and was so popular that there were six different soccer teams across the U.S. that named themselves after "Bienvenu."Phil worked with Lionel at the ABC affiliate in New Orleans, where Phil was a sports producer. Phil has also been a weekend sports anchor in Lafayette, La., sports director in Greenville, South Carolina and a sports anchor in Atlanta.
Together, the sports team provides the intense and insightful coverage that Denver sports fans demand, including comprehensive coverage of the Broncos, Avalanche, Rockies, Nuggets, Rapids and regional college sports.
