NCAA Game Summary - Loyola-Marymount At Wyoming

Laramie, WY -- (Sports Network) - Ryan Dermody scored 15 points to lead the Wyoming Cowboys to a 76-70 victory over the Loyola-Marymount Lions in a non- conference battle at the Arena-Auditorium. Desmar Jackson added 13 points for Wyoming (4-4), while Adam Waddell and Djibril Thiam posted 12 and 11 points, respectively, in the win. Kevin Young netted 16 points and pulled down 12 caroms for LMU (3-6), while Vernon Teel also tallied 16 points. Given Kalipinde chipped in 10 points, while Drew Viney grabbed 11 boards in the loss.
Wyoming went into the break with a 42-31 advantage after holding LMU to a mere 38.2 percent shooting effort from the floor in the opening half. The Cowboys made 19-of-24 attempts from the foul line in the second stanza and went on to win by a six-point margin. Wyoming made 26-of-34 attempts from the charity stripe in the game, while the Lions connected on just 13-of-20 shots from the foul line.
