San Jose, CA -- (Sports Network) - Colin Kaepernick ran for three touchdowns and threw for another, as Nevada crushed San Jose State, 62-7, in a Western Athletic Conference tilt at Spartan Stadium.

Kaepernick finished 9-of-14 passing for 122 yards and ran for 115 yards on 11 carries for the Wolfpack (6-3, 5-0 WAC), who have rattled off six consecutive wins since losing three straight to start the season. Vai Taua gained 144 yards and a TD on 12 touches, while Luke Lippincott boasted 112 yards and two scores on 12 carries.

Lampford Mark had a TD and 114 yards on 17 carries for Nevada, which became just the fifth team in NCAA history to have four 100-yard rushers in a game. L.J. Washington had a touchdown reception in the triumph.

Jordan La Secla threw for 226 yards and an interception on 19-of-28 efficiency for the Spartans (1-7, 0-4), who have dropped four in a row since their lone win of the season. Patrick Perry led the way on the ground for the home team with 15 yards and a score on five carries. Kevin Jurovich tallied 110 yards on six grabs.

San Jose State was held to a three-and-out on the game's opening drive, and Nevada took advantage. Kaepernick's 19-yard TD rush capped a 10-play, 73-yard drive that gave the Wolfpack a 6-0 lead after the extra point was botched.

Kaepernick had a 15-yard TD run early in the second quarter to make it 13-0.

The Spartans missed a 40-yard field goal on the following drive, which led to Kaepernick's four-yard TD run that closed out a seven-play, 77-yard drive to give the visitors a 20-0 edge.

Lippincott's three-yard TD run ballooned the difference to 27 points with under two minutes left in the half, and Taua's 70-yard scoring rush in the waning seconds of the half made it 34-0 at the break.

Lippincott ran in an eight-yard score on the opening drive of the second half, and Washington hauled in a 46-yard TD strike to make it 48-0 about 5 1/2 minutes into the third.

Courtney Randall's three-yard TD rush made it 55-0 shortly into the fourth.

Perry's one-yard TD run a few minutes later finally got the Spartans on the board, but Mark had a six-yard scoring dash late in the game to account for the final margin.
