NCAA Game Summary - Texas A&M At Colorado

(Sports Network) - Josh Carter scored 18 points and pulled down seven rebounds to help lead the Texas A&M Aggies to a 72-66 win against the Colorado Buffaloes in Big 12 Conference play at the Coors Events Center.

Also scoring in double figures for the Aggies (22-8, 8-7 Big 12), as they won their fifth in a row, was B.J. Holmes with 16 points off the bench, followed by Donald Sloan and Derrick Roland with 14 and 12 points, respectively.

The Buffaloes (9-20, 1-14), losers of 10 straight, were paced by Cory Higgins with a game-high 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the floor. Casey Crawford accounted for 16 points and Toby Veal 10 points off the bench.

Texas A&M made a total of just eight field goals in the first half, converting a mere 3-of-11 behind the three-point line, leaving the visitors with a 32-24 deficit at the break.

In the second half the Aggies bounced back with 53.8 percent from the floor, 6-of-10 out on the perimeter, to capture the six-point win.

A&M overcame 19 turnovers by outscoring the home team at the free-throw line, 19-8.
