World Series Tickets On Sale Next Monday

DENVER -- For the first time in franchise history Rockies fans can see their team play in the World Series.The Colorado Rockies will begin selling World Series tickets on Monday, Oct. 22.Starting at 10 a.m. that day, the team said tickets will be available in person at the Coors Field ticket office, Rockies' Dugout Stores and on the team's Web site. A lottery system will be used for people waiting in line at Coors Field and the Dugout Stores, and people will be limited to four tickets per person per game.
Prices for the tickets will range from $65 for Rockpile seats to $250 for infield boxes and the club level.According to the Rockies' Web site, season ticket holders will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase additional World Series tickets during a special presale on Sunday, Oct, 21. Ticket limits will apply. Season ticket holders will receive an e-mail with further details The presale is online only at ColoradoRockies.com.The games are:Wednesday, Oct. 24 (AL site) Thursday, Oct. 25 (AL site) Saturday, Oct. 27 -- Coors Field Sunday, Oct. 28 -- Coors Field Monday, Oct. 29 -- Coors Field Wednesday, Oct. 31 (AL site) Thursday, Nov. 1 (AL site)It's not yet known what American League team the Rockies will play.
