Denver's 7 and CollegeInvest have launched a unique program designed to revitalize the art and science programs in schools throughout Colorado. The 7 Classroom Makeover focuses on critical infrastructure improvements in schools. These improvements will include the renovation of existing classrooms such as music rooms, art studios, computer labs and libraries.

For 2006, the 7 Classroom Makeover has partnered with Denver Public Schools to renovate two schools in their district. An internal committee was established at DPS to determine which schools would benefit most from a makeover. Based on that committee's findings, Montbello High School will receive the first classroom makeover.

Thanks to our many sponsors, a new computer lab was installed at Montbello High School on time, by March 31st. A design team of local contractors and architects donated their time and expertise to the program. Their work included painting, carpeting, mill work, wiring and of course, setting up the 33 new computers. These donations helped create a state-of-the-art computer lab that will be used by the Montbello students and community for years to come. Please click here to view our sponsors.
