Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old at time of entry and a legal resident of Colorado, subject to verification under Colorado law. Employees of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., Internet Broadcasting, and CollegeInvest, their parent company, agents, affiliate, subsidiaries, and member of their immediate families or persons residing in the same household are not eligible (collectively, the "Sponsors").
CollegeInvest, and The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., Internet Broadcasting reserve the right to end a contest at any time without advance notice to the public.
To Enter: To enter, go to www.thedenverchannel.com and type in the appropriate information requested on the Everyday Cents Nomination Page. Only one entry per day per email address will be accepted. Sponsors are not responsible for late, misdirected or illegible entries.
Prize(s): $100 CollegeInvest 529 College Savings Account. One Everyday Cents winner will be selected each month October 2008 through May 2009.
Prize Conditions: Prizes are supplied by CollegeInvest. Prizes are not substitutable for any other item by winner. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value for any prize, for any reason. No transfer of prize is permitted, and prize may not be redeemed for cash value. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and fees, plus any other incidentals. Each winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release form prior to receipt of a prize acknowledging that the Sponsors have the right to publicize his/her name and likeness, the fact that he/she has won the certain prize and all maters incidental thereto without the payment of any compensation for a period of one (1) year. Each will be required to waive any and all claims against the Sponsors and their respective affiliates, employees, agents and representatives for any loss which may occur from participation in the contest or from the receipt or use of the prize. Non-compliance will result in disqualification and forfeit of prize. All prizes are awarded "as is."
How to Win: Entrants must register to win online at www.thedenverchannel.com. Participants will be asked to enter specific personal/contact information and their savings idea. Winners will be determined by representatives from CollegeInvest and The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., Internet Broadcasting. Winners must provide participating stations with appropriate identification (Colorado Driver's License or ID) and PICK UP THEIR PRIZE AT PARTICIPATING STATION OFFICES.
Odds: Odds of winning will depend upon number of eligible entries received.
Contest Conditions: The contestants and winners release the Sponsors and their respective affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest, including their respective employees, agents and representatives from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from the contest and the awarding and use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury and/or property damage.
Disqualifications & Forfeiture: In the event that winner fails to claim his or her prize by the 15th of the month following the winning month, or fails to meet the eligibility requirements of the contest, the unawarded prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected at random from remaining entries. College Savings Account Prize will be forfeited if the completed Account application and any other required documents are not returned to CollegeInvest within 60 days of receipt by the winner.
Miscellaneous: All entries become the sole property of CollegeInvest and participating station, and none will be returned. Winners will be required to give participating stations his/her social security number, legal name, age, current address and phone number for tax record keeping purposes only.
Privacy: CollegeInvest and The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., Internet Broadcasting will not share personal information about you with any other source without express written consent.
Disputes: By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the judges. Any dispute regarding the sweepstakes or these rules will be resolved by a panel of judges from CollegeInvest and their decision shall be final.
