Bio: Alexandria Pierce was 11 when she started the hobby that would become her business. It began over fall break one day that she was bored and had an itch to make something. She says she started thinking about, "how the purses I saw were all the same." Inspired by an old pair of jeans, she made a purse out of them and she didn’t stop there. Alex now uses any kind of pants or skirts for her creations and she uses suspenders, ties, or belts in order to make straps.
What started from being bored on a fall day turned into her business, Bags by Alex P. She makes purses, messenger bags, backpacks, and beach bags. She sells her products at several local shops and has a website to promote her business. One day she hopes to have a boutique in which to sell her funky but functional bags.
