DENVER -- Here's a great deal for you -- 11 museums in the Denver metro area will offer free admission this Saturday, Nov. 7.

The idea comes from Paris where they hold the popular La Nuit des Musées event.

At Denver's Saturday Night at the Museums, visitors will get free entrance into the Denver Art Museum, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Colorado History Museum, Children's Museum of Denver, Forney Museum of Transportation, Black Americans West Museum, Molly Brown House Museum, Byers-Evans House Museum, Kirland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art, Museum of Contemporary Art Denver and the Museo de las Americas.

You can gain free entrance from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

*One note, tickets to Genghis Khan at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for Saturday night are sold out.

You can even get a free ride to the museums. Shuttles will be running from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. from the Cherry Creek Shopping Center to the museums. There are four different routes to the participating museums.

All guests boarding the buses at Cherry Creek Shopping Center will receive a passport to shopping including discounts to 160 stores and restaurants.
