Wednesdays are now "Pie Rush Wednesday" at Village Inn.

From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. get a free slice of Village Inn's double crust fruit pie with any purchase. That means you can buy a cup of coffee and get a slife of the special fruit pie for free.

Interestly, I tried to find the offer on Village Inn's Web site. It says the Colorado restaurants are not participating in this deal, but my local restuarant in Broomfield was telling everyone about the deal last night and they had a sign about it. I called a location in Denver, they answered the phone by saying it was "Pie Rush Wednesday."

Several Web sites say the deal is expected to last a few weeks. As always, check with your local restaurant before you go, to see if they have the deal and what the rules are to get your free slice of fruit pie.
