Debbie's Deals: Kids Bowl Free 2010

AMF, Other Locations Offering Free Bowling For Kids

POSTED: 11:12 am MDT June 4, 2009

Here's a great deal for families -- select bowling centers around the country are once again offering a "Kids Bowl Free" program.

Children get to bowl 2 free games a day, all summer long.

The age limit is set by each bowling center. To find a location near you, visit the Kids Bowl Free website. Last year there were 9 participating centers in the metro area, this year there are 7. The free bowling offer doesn't include shoes.

What's the catch? You can't just show up and bowl for free. You have to register on the website. The registration is then valid only at the bowling center where you registered and cannot be used at any other bowling center unless otherwise noted.

For details on how the program works, click here. As always, make sure you follow the directions.

Also, when you register, you will have the opportunity to purchase a family pass. The family pass starts from $24.95 and includes two free games per person per day. The family pass covers up to 4 adult family members.

Why do it? The KidsBowlFree Web site says, "This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer."

And while you're out, why not combine free bowling with kids eat free? Check out my article on where kids eat free, it's now organized by days of the week.

Thanks to Jen and the Denver Metro Moms website for the free bowling tip. If you see a deal, let me know! E-mail me Debbie (Debbie@thedenverchannel.com).
