DENVER -- It may be a parent's three favorite words after "I love you." It's the phrase, "Kids eat free."

Since I love free, I started researching what Denver area restaurants offer free meals for kids. I published the original article in April, but I keep getting so many tips on more restaurants, that I decided it was time for another update. One major disclaimer. Consider calling your local restaurant before you go, to double-check that they offer a kids eat free deal and what times they offer it. Also ask if there is an age limit. I've noticed while some locations may offer a kids eat free deal, not all of them do. Some restaurants in the same chain also offer the kids eat free deal at different times.

Again, call ahead. I have recevied numerous E-mails from parents who were disappointed when a restaurant did not offer a kids eat free deal even though other locations of the same restaurant have the deal.

Mondays:

Kids eat free at Gunther Toody's on Mondays with the purchase of an adult meal. The offer is good for kids 12 and under and it's available 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Kids eat for 99 cents on Mondays and Tuesdays at Fuddruckers. The kids meal includes fries, a drink and a cookie. Locations in Aurora, Littleton and Thornton. Thanks to Kerri for this tip.

Cinzzetti's Italian Market in Northglenn lets kids eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Cinzzetti's is a buffet-type restaurant so the kid's meal is the full buffet. Two children 12 and under can eat free for each paying adult. The buffet includes 16 different types of ice cream, but not drinks.

Ajuua offers free kids meals on Monday's and Tuesday's, but check to make sure your local location has the offer. Thanks to Pati for this tip.

Kids 8 and under eat free on Monday nights at La Casa del Rey in Commerce City. Kids have to order from the children's menu. One child per paying adult. Dine in only. To get this deal you must tell them you saw it on Debbie's Deals!

Tuesdays:

Denny's offers a kids eat free deal on Tuesday nights from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Some locations also offer kids eat free on Saturday nights. The deal is good for two free kids entrees from the kids menu per one regularly priced adult entree purchased.

Champps lets kids eat free on Tuesday nights. They even get dessert. The offer is available from 4 p.m. to close. Kids 12 and under get to choose a free meal from the kids menu and they get a sundae too.

Black-Eyed Pea lets kids eat free on Tuesdays between 5 p.m to closing. One kids meal is free for each adult meal purchased. The offer is for kids 12 and under and they have to order from a kids menu. Black-Eyed Pea also has a coloring contest on Tuesday nights where the winner gets a free meal they can use any day of the week.

Ajuua offers free kids meals on Monday's and Tuesday's, but check to make sure your local location has the offer. Thanks to Pati for this tip.

Cafe Chihuahua offers free kid's meals on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. It's one kid's meal free for each adult entree purchased. Thanks to Brian for this tip.

The Melting Pot has a kids eat free deal on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4:45 pm. Kids 12 and under eat free with the purchase of any combo entree for two. One child per paying adult.

Fazoli's doesn't have a kids eat free night, but they have a discounted meal night. On Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. kids meals are 99 cents instead of the regular $2.99. Most restaurants also offer arts and crafts for kids on Tuesday nights. This offer is for kids 12 and under.

Atlanta Bread Company has a kids eat free deal on Tuesdays from 4 p.m to close. For each paying adult, a child can eat a meal from the kids menu for free.

Lone Star Steakhouse offers a kids eat free deal all day on Tuesdays. Two children can eat free for every paying adult. The offer is for kids 12 and under.

Kids eat free at Perkins Restaurants on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 4 p.m to 10 p.m. The offer is for kids 12 and under and it's one free child's meal for each adult meal purchased.

Cinzzetti's Italian Market in Northglenn lets kids eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Cinzzetti's is a buffet type restaurant so the kids meal is the full buffet. Two children 12 and under can eat free for each paying adult. The buffet includes 16 different types of ice cream, but not drinks.

Islands Restaurant in Boulder lets kids eat free all day on Tuesday. Two children can eat free for each adult meal purchased.

Pasquini's Pizzeriaalso lets kids eat free all day on Tuesdays. Two children 12 and under can eat free from the kids menu for each adult entree purchased. Thanks to Ted for this tip.

Kids also eat free all day Tuesdays at Dewey's American Grill in Highlands Ranch and Littleton. One child can eat free from the kids menu for each adult entree purchased. Thanks to Tracy for this tip.

McAlister's Deli in Aurora has a kids eat free deal every night after 5 p.m. and all day on Tuesdays. Two kids 12 and under can eat free for each adult entree purchased. The kids meal even includes a drink. Thanks to Brandy for this tip.

Wednesdays:

Kids eat free on Wednesdays from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. at Woody's Wood Fired Pizza. One child can eat free for each paying adult. The free kids meal has to come from the kids menu and it includes the kids pizza bar which includes pizza, salad and soup. Ages 12 and under. Definitely check that this offer is available at your local restaurant because one location told me they still have the deal, another told me it was discontinued.

Applebee's deal is 99 cent kid meals on Wednesdays. At some locations it's all day, at other locations it may only be valid after 3 p.m. Check with your local manager. The offer is for kids 12 and under and the manager told me one paying adult can bring several children.

Thursdays:

Thursday is the day to visit C.B. & Potts for discounted kids meals. Kids meals are $1 for children under 12. Families can get one discounted children's meal for each adult meal purchased.

Saturdays:

Kids eat free all day on Saturdays and Sundays at Bono's Pit BBQ in Englewood and Aurora. It's one kids meal per paying adult and the kids meal comes with a drink.

Kids eat free at Perkins Restaurants on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 4 p.m to 10 p.m. The offer is for kids 12 and under and it's one free child's meal for each adult meal purchased.

Uno Chicago Grill offers free kids meals on Saturdays, but only at the Denver location on 40th Avenue, not the Westminster location. Thanks to Pati and Cara.

Sundays:

Landry's Seafood House offers a kids eat free deal on Sundays. For each adult entree purchased, a family can get up to two free entrees from the kids menu. The offer is valid all day on Sundays for children 12 and under. The deal appears to only be available at the Landry’s Seafood House on South Clinton Street in Englewood. (303-792-0285) I called two other Landry owned restaurants that do not have the deal.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit lets one child eat free for each adult meal purchased on Sundays. The kids meal is 1 meat and 1 side. Thanks to Stefanie for this tip.

Kids eat free all day on Sundays at Garcia's Mexican Restauranton Syracuse Street near Belleview Avenue in Denver. It's one child per paying adult from 11am- 9pm. Thanks to Toni for this tip.

Kids 5-12 get $1 off on Sundays at Souper Salad. That drops the price of a kids meal to $2.49 instead of $3.49. Jill Clark told me, "It's an awesome place for kids to eat free, because there are so many choices and lots of veggie choices." She also likes the frozen yogurt, brownies, jello, angelfood cake for dessert.

Everyday:

IHOP lets kids eat free every day from 3 p.m. to close. What's the catch? The adult and the child can't order off the special menu, only the full price menu. It's one free kids meal for each adult meal purchased and it's only good for kids 12 and under.

McAlister's Deli in Aurora has a kids eat free deal every night after 5 p.m. Two kids 12 and under can eat free for each adult entree purchased. The kids meal even includes a drink. The offer is also valid all day on Tuesdays. Thanks to Brandy for this tip.

Kids 4 and under eat free at Souper Salad during all the hours the restaurant is open.

Sweet Tomatoes deal is not as good. It's only free for kids 3 and under. Kids ages 4 to 5 are $1.69.

Golden Corral has a similar deal. Kids 3 and under eat free each day.
