Rockies fans anxious to get to Coors Field during the World Series shouldn't fear traffic jams and high parking fees.

The Denver Regional Council of Governments RideArrangers program is helping fans find carpool partners who’ll share the ride and the cost of parking with them.

This special event feature is an offshoot of its long-standing commuter carpool matching service.

“We’re so excited that the Rockies made it to their first World Series, and we want to help fans make sure that they won’t miss a minute of the action,” said DRCOG Executive Director Jennifer Schaufele. “Every fan that can share the ride with another, or several others, helps take cars off the road, which reduces the amount of time everyone will spend in game-day traffic.”

Interested carpoolers can log on to click here and click on the Carpool to the Game icon on the home page.

There they’ll see instructions on using the carpool matching service, as well as a link to route planning on RTD’s Web site, www.rtd-denver.com.
