Mike's Reporter's Notebook: Blues In The Schools, Rules Update

DENVER -- Our 7NEWS report on Blues In The Schools is being rescheduled for Sunday May 25 in our 10 p.m. newscast.

The current plan is run the story again on 7NEWS at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday May 26.

This is a wonderful effort by the Colorado Blues Society to preserve and celebrate this uniquely American form of music: The Blues.

My new goal for this year is to become a "presenter" for the Blues Society. I’ve played guitar since I was 13 and blues songs were the first I learned to play.

The reaction of the kids to these presentations is just remarkable.
