GOLDEN, Colo. -- Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards will be in Colorado Thursday for the third time since Sen. John Kerry picked him to be his running made.

The North Carolina senator plans to hold a town meeting at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds around 4:30 p.m. He plans to discuss the health care plan he and Kerry have developed.

Democratic activists have been trying to recruit undecided voters, including Republicans and independents to attend the event.

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. It will be at the Events Center.
