Michelle Obama's Rally Will Be On CU Campus

Michelle Obama's voter registration rally in Boulder on Wednesday will be on the University of Colorado campus.

Her husband's presidential campaign released more details of the event on Monday. Gates open at 10 a.m. and the rally starts at 11:15 at Farrand Field, a sprawling lawn surrounded by dormitories. It's used for sports, concerts and other events.

Tickets are not required but Obama campaign officials recommended an online RSVP to the event.

The visit comes just two days after Barack Obama brought his Democratic presidential campaign back to Colorado. Republican John McCain will be in Colorado Thursday and Friday and running mate Sarah Palin will be here on Saturday.

Both sides consider Colorado to be up for grabs, with enough electoral votes to decide a close election.
