Tampa WR Galloway Out For Denver Game

POSTED: 2:43 pm MDT October 3, 2008

(Sports Network) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Joey Galloway will miss his third consecutive game with a foot injury, as he will sit out Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos.

Galloway was sidelined for the last two games after sustaining the injury in the Buccaneers' Week 2 24-9 win over Atlanta. He had two catches for 18 yards in the win.

Galloway missed all of training camp and the preseason with a groin problem.

Running back B.J. Askew is out for this week after being diagnosed with a torn hamstring, and safety Sabby Piscitelli (elbow) is listed as doubtful after leaving last Sunday's game against the Packers.

Meanwhile, linebacker Derrick Brooks (hamstring) was listed as questionable and defensive tackle Ryan Sims (groin) and guard Davin Joseph (foot) are also listed as questionable. Cornerback Aqib Talib had limited participation in practice this week and is listed as probable.

With three division games looming in the distance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are doing their best not to look past the Detroit Lions. With Detroit winless in 10 games this year, that figures to be easier said then done.
