Allen Park, MI -- (Sports Network) - Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Calvin Johnson missed their second straight practice Tuesday, two days before the club battles Green Bay on Thanksgiving Day.Stafford had his left shoulder driven into the ground by a Browns defender on the second-to-last play of the game on Sunday. The rookie stayed down for several moments but managed to come back and throw the game-winning touchdown to Brandon Pettigrew. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 draft is also still bothered by a knee injury that sidelined him in Weeks 5 and 6. For the season, he has compiled 1,911 yards, 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions for the 2-8 Lions. "He's not one to shy away from a challenge," Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said of Stafford. "If he's able, he'll be able to get out there and play [Sunday]. But there's definitely a line there between being willing and being able." Johnson, who has recorded 597 yards and two touchdowns this season, sat out of practice again with hand and knee injuries. He has missed two games this year with a knee injury.
