Green Bay, WI -- (Sports Network) - Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy revealed Monday that linebacker Aaron Kampman and cornerback Al Harris will each have season-ending knee surgery."It will be a big challenge for our football team," McCarthy said. "Both Aaron and Al have meant a lot to us and our football team. Both have over 100-plus starts. Just thinking about it walking down here after visiting with Aaron, not seeing 74 and 31 in the huddle, it's going to be different. But it's a challenge for our younger players, they're going to have to step up and get ready on a short week for Detroit." Both players were carted off the field on separate plays in the second half of Sunday's win over San Francisco. Although McCarthy didn't elaborate on the specifics of the injuries, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Kampman and Harris both sustained a torn ACL. Kampman recorded 42 tackles and 3 1/2 sacks in nine games this season, while Harris had 34 tackles, two interceptions and one sack in 10 games.
