POSTED: 2:05 pm MDT August 27, 2008

(Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded defensive end Marques Douglas to the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday in exchange for undisclosed draft picks.

Tampa signed Douglas as a free agent on March 18.

A nine-year veteran who spent the last three seasons with the 49ers, Douglas had three sacks and 71 tackles in 16 starts for San Francisco in 2007. The 6- foot-2, 292-pounder has 19 career sacks. His best output came in 2004 when he had 5 1/2 sacks for the Ravens.

The Howard product entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Ravens in 1999. He spent 2000 with the Saints before returning to Baltimore in 2001, and he earned a starting job with the Ravens in 2003.
