Vikings' Henderson Agrees To Contract Extension

(Sports Network) - The Minnesota Vikings on Friday agreed to a multi-year contract extension with linebacker E.J. Henderson.

Per club policy, terms of the deal were not released.

A fourth-year player out of Maryland, Henderson has missed only three games in his Vikings' career. He leads the team with 108 tackles this season and has reached a career-high in sacks (3.0) and tackles for loss (5.0). He also has two interceptions on the year, returning one 45 yards for his first career touchdown against Detroit on October 8 at the Metrodome.

Overall, Henderson has played in 58 games for Minnesota, recording 288 tackles and five sacks.
