GUNNISON, Colo. -- Students at Western State College of Colorado are gathering to mourn two classmates killed in a Gunnison house fire over the weekend. A Tuesday evening memorial service was planned for 18-year-old Lucille Grace Causley of Harbor Springs, Mich., and 21-year-old Adam Michael Lockard of Bethesda, Md. The two died early Saturday in a house fire off campus. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
"We are shocked and deeply saddened by this tragedy," said Western State President Jay Helman in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the students’ family and friends during this difficult time."
