Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg's wife bought her wedding dress under a fake name at a shop in Denver last fall, 7NEWS anchor Bertha Lynn first reported.
Cate Malone, owner of the Little White Dress Bridal Shop
in Denver told Lynn that Priscilla Chan bought the gown in October 2011 and returned in April to buy accessories.
Chan used a fake name, said nothing about the wedding other than the date and the payment was handled by a different person, according to Malone.
"She was a very nice bride/customer," said Malone. "We had no idea she was marrying one of the wealthiest men in the world."
The dress was called "Sky Between the Branches" and was designed by Claire Pettibone.
"Our seamstress started the alterations, but because of the bride's schedule the dress had to be shipped to California where alterations were finished," Malone said.
Chan and Zuckerberg married in a surprise ceremony Saturday billed as a medical school graduation party for Chan.
