Nederland's Frozen Dead Guy Days celebration honoring a frozen corpse have been impacted by high winds.

The three-day festival that began Friday features a parade of hearses, frozen salmon tossing and coffin races.

The Parade, Polar Plunge and Coffin Races have been moved to Sunday, due to high winds and tent conditions. Workers were working Saturday to fix the beer and music tents damaged by high winds.

All events at inside venues were still being held, a festival spokesman said on Saturday.

Bredo Morstoel's corpse has been packed in dry ice in a shed at the mountain town since 1993. He died in 1989 at age 89 and his Norwegian family preserved his body in hopes technology will be developed to bring him back to life.
