BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. – A wildfire that sparked Wednesday afternoon in the mountains in Breckenridge had already burned dozens of acres over a short period of time, and Peak 7 residents were being asked to evacuate by 4 p.m.
Area fire protection districts have already put the entire town of Breckenridge on notice that it might have to evacuate should the fire spread.
