Roadblocks lifted at Starwood Fire in Larimer County

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. -- The roadblocks at the Starwood Fire in Larimer County were lifted at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

The fire, which was started by a lightning strike on Sunday, has burned 304 acres, according to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.

The fire is 60 percent contained, officials said.

"Thank you for your continued support of the men and women from the many agencies working on this fire," the Larimer County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook.

The fire is near Cherokee Park and Crystal Lakes.

At one point, approximately 30 structures were threatened by the fire, but there have been no reports of damage or injuries, according to the Forest Service.
