CUSTER COUNTY, Colo. -- NASA released an image Wednesday of the the Junkins Fire burning in southern Colorado.

The image was taken by a NASA satellite on Monday and shows how far the smoke from the 16,800-acre fire has traveled.

The uncontained fire burning in Custer County has destroyed 13 structures, including five homes.
