Two fires in Larimer County are 100 percent contained.

Lory State Park

The Arthur's Rock Fire at Lory State Park in Larimer County was started when lightning hit a tree, according to the Poudre Fire Authority.

The fire burned 1.5 to two acres, officials said.

The fire was fought by crews doing direct suppression -- meaning digging lines and laying hose. A Type 2 helicopter also came in to drop water.

"The public may notice some residual smoke," incident commander and Larimer County Emergency Services specialist Tony Simons said. "Everyone was extremely successful in achieving their goals," he said of firefighters.

Lory State Park is west of Fort Collins and north of Horsetooth Reservoir.

Loveland fire

The Bobcat Ridge Fire burned Friday at Bobcat Ridge Natural Area.

That fire burned 2.7 acres and was 100 percent contained Friday night.
