MONTROSE COUNTY, Colo. -- A tour bus from Arizona heading for Telluride with 56 passengers on board ended up over the edge of the road Thursday night in Montrose County.

Deputies with the San Miguel Sheriff's Office tweeted they were responding to the scene at mile marker 107, just south of Naturita at around 8:30 p.m.

No one was injured, San Miguel Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Susan Lilly told Denver7.

"Deputies are working to keep everyone safe and warm until alternate transportation arrives," Lilly said.

Crews were also working to get the bus righted.

Highway 145 was closed from Norwood to Nucla following the incident, the Sheriff's Office tweeted. Officials also said a West End School District school bus was on its way to the scene to take the 56 passengers to a temporary shelter while the bus was recovered.

Authorities said the bus was coming from the Alpine Ski Club in Phoenix, Ariz.
