A police chase that started in Utah, went 17 miles into Colorado Thursday before the driver was stopped.
Officers said the driver was clocked at 111 miles per hour in Utah, according to KJCT-TV.
The driver was finally stopped near Fruita, Colorado.
The Colorado State Patrol said the driver and four passengers are students from Hong Kong who are attending the University of Colorado Boulder.
The driver was ticketed for reckless driving and speeding, and released.
