Woman finds a 9-thousand dollar print at Goodwill
Last Updated: 168 days ago
A Wisconsin woman first noticed this print at her local Goodwill store, but when she saw the signature in the lower corner, she knew she had to have it. The name she saw was Calder, and she was hoping it was Alexander Calder, but doubted it. She decided to purchase it anyway and spent 12-dollars on the print. Later she took it to an art appraiser in Chicago and was shocked to discover she had a signed and numbered lithograph titled "Red Nose", and it appraised at nine-thousand dollars. Surprisingly, she's not rushing to cash in her treasure of a find. She says at first she didn't particularly like it, but now it's grown on her and she really likes it.
