A fisherman is facing criticism for catching a fish that may be 200 years old.
Last month, Seattle resident Henry Liebman caught a record 39-pound shortraker rockfish off Alaska.
The previous record-holding fish weighed 38 pounds and was 175 years old.
"I think it's just a kick. You know for some people something so old is out of their perspective. So you have fun with it," Liebman told ABC News.
Biologists will have the final word, but Alaska's Fish and Game Department thinks Liebman's catch is even older.
There are some, however, who are upset with Liebman's catch. Critics say the killing of an amazingly old creature is nothing to celebrate.
