Pepsi is going to introduce a drink in Japan that might change how you think about soda.

The new product, called "Pepsi Special," goes on sale Tuesday. It contains a fiber called dextrin that the distributor claims will help reduce fat levels in the body.

The company appeals to be targeting the product at health-conscious men with the message that they can eat fatty foods if they drink Pepsi Special.

The Kirin company, better known for its beer, already has a dextrin soda in the market.

The Japanese soft-drink market does about $48 billion a year.
