U.S. Capitol Christmas tree lit

A piece of Colorado lighting up Washington, D.C. 17-year Ryan Shuster from Colorado Springs, helped Speaker of the House John Boehner light up the U.S. Capitol Christmas tree. The 65-foot Englemann Spruce is from the White River National forest here in Colorado. It's decorated with ten-thousand lights and ornaments hand-made by students from around Colorado.
