Suspicious package at JFK International Airport cleared

Package contained tape, toothpaste

NEW YORK - A source at JFK says a suspicious package that was being boarded on to a plane around 4:10 Sunday afternoon was cleared, WABC reported.

JFK Terminal 4 Concourse B was evacuated, and a bomb squad was called in.

The package was cleared just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday. It was identified as tape and a container of toothpaste in a bag. Travelers have been allowed back into the terminal.
